Aperol Spritz Drink

Spritzers have made a comeback. Not a moment too soon.

What do I love about them? They’re light (low alcohol), refreshing, and bubbly.

Bubbles make everything more festive.

Plus they’re easy to make.

  1. Looks yummy, don’t think I’ve heard of Aperol before but want to try it. I have Prosecco on hand! I’m checking out your Amazon links, fall decor very nice! Don’t swear the blog delays. Great to see whenever it’s up. Your outdoor plants…fab…reminds me a bit of Kristy Wicks.

    1. Thank you so much, Carol. Aperol is truly a wonder as its so low in alcohol for those of us (me!) who can’t handle a lot! Plus its so pretty! I really appreciate your encouragement and amazing compliment. Having Snowberry’s outdoor landscaping compared to Kirsty Wicks … wowza! Wishing you a beautiful week! xo

  2. Hi Juliet,
I just yesterday bought two of the three things I need to have this drink tonight! Going to get Aperol today, sounds like a delicious alternative to my favorite champagne cocktail!
    Xo Heidi

  3. Hi Juliet!! I love your Blog. Just read your Aperol Spritz cocktail recipe. I wondered about the flavor of Aperol , and went to the Aperol website.Mary
I learned that Aperol is made from Oranges, Gentian, Rhubarb and Cinchona.
It is said to tas (straight) like rather bitter orange, but by adding the Prosecco and Soda , the bitterness is tempered with a slightly sweet bubbliness.
I love White wine Spritzers and am eager to try an Aperol Spritzer!
Today I will.head to BevMo for Aperol, Prosecco, and Soda water.
    Cheers!

    1. Hi Mary … I’m so excited you’re going to give it a try! Let me know what you think. Aperol on its own is an acquired taste … but mixed in a cocktail it really adds a little something something. Hope you had a great weekend and thanks for following my blog. I appreciate you! xo

  4. It’s interesting you have different drinks for different seasons. I have never really thought about that but I guess it’s true. Blogging is hard – it takes more time than anyone ever thinks. Keep at it though. I’m really enjoying following you and your renovation is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Carol … thank you so much! It’s a thrill to have you following along … and I’ll keep pushing forward to overcome my technical deficiencies!!! We change so many things for the seasons, so why not our cocktails?!!! Let’s see if I can get that fall post out this week. Fingers crossed! xo

  5. OH THAT ITALIAN DRINK IS ON YOUR RADAR!!!!!!!!!!!
    I always forget about THEM!
THE ITALIAN only drinks CAMPARI which I do not LIKE AT ALL………..its all about the color for me TOO!
    GO FIGURE!
BLOGGING HARD!!!TIME CONSUMING TO SAY THE LEAST…………..worth it all I suppose as I would have never met YOU!

    1. Right you are, Contessa! Worth it absolutely! Meeting new and wonderful people … and right in our own backyards. I think Campari and Aperol are very similar. On their own not to my liking but as a mixer quite nice. The Italians in our family drink Campari non-stop! xo

  6. The first rule of blogging Juliet, is when you have technical difficulties, down another spritzer. Keep downing them til the darn computer straightens itself out. Have a great week.

    1. Absolutely! They are the Heartland goblet … several people asked me the same thing and so added a stoppable link to the post. I also included a similar, but less expensive option from Crate & Barrel. Hope you give it a try … so good! xo
