Today I’m sharing a decadent, chocolate Valentine’s Day dessert you’re going to love! It’s quick, easy, no-bake and adults-only.
What’s Valentine’s Day without chocolate?
I don’t want to know.
So I’m talking matters into my own hands and making Decadent Chocolate Pots de Creme.

This rich, creamy, oh so chocolatey dessert is decadent for sure.
It’s also quick and easy.
No baking required.
How to Make Decadent Chocolate Pots de Creme
I promised quick and easy … there are only five ingredients, seven if you count the whipped cream.
It takes all of 10 minutes to make and a couple of hours to chill.

Heat milk, combine ingredients in a blender pour into small ramekins and chill.
That’s it!
When ready to serve, make whipping cream and garnish with mint … or a raspberry.

Decadent Chocolate Pots de Creme
Ingredients
Method
- Heat milk over moderate heat just until it comes to a boil.
- In a blender combine, egg, sugar, pinch of salt, chocolate chips and Chambord. Pulse a few times, then add hot milk through top and continue blending for one minute.
- Pour into 4 small, 2 two medium size ramekins and chill.
- When ready to serve, beat heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
- Top pots de creme with whip cream and a mint sprig.
Shave chocolate over the top for extra prettiness.

Planning a romantic dinner a deux?
Be extra decadent and make double portions in larger ramekins.
Or a cup and saucer.
And while we’re kicking things up a notch, pair pots de creme with an adult beverage you’ve got a romantic fireside dessert for two.

A Kir Royale is simply a glass of champagne with a shot of Creme de Cassis, a black currant liqueur.
My Raspberry Kir Royale version replaces Creme de Cassis with Chambord, a black raspberry liqueur.

I’ve been collecting vintage silver-plate trays which are fun for serving.
You can find them in consignment stores and Etsy always has a nice selection.

This sounds easy, quick and doable. I have not tried Chambord, but love raspberry (and chocolate) so I’m going to try these for Valentine’s Day. Love your silver-plated tray and brass candlesticks. A beautiful setting, very elegant. I like that you use classic pieces, things you may already have and not something designed for just a particular holiday. Your style is so inspirational. I just wish I could find those great woven book baskets on your bookcases. Lol. I even have my sisters looking for them as they go antiquing/thrifting.

This recipe looks less rich and easier than than the one I’ve used previously — will definitely try it! It is becoming harder to justify heavy cream as the sole liquid in a dessert recipe (but I NEVER object to whipped cream on top!). And I love Kir and Kir Royale: Chambord will be an interesting change.
It tastes a lot richer than the ingredients suggest … and who doesn’t have chocolate chips in the pantry. So easy peasy … and yes to whipped cream! Happy Valentine’s Day. xo

The chocolate pots look very decadent. rich and pretty. If you are serving this I know who is going to be on a sugar high for a few hours.
I used to be the President of the Chocoholics club but I gave up my position.
I try to stay away from chocolate. I love the smell of it, the smell can so easily temp me back into the danger zone.
Chocolate is definitely my weakness … and I try to have a little taste after lunch and dinner. But I’m definitely eating the entire pot on Valentine’s Day!!! President of the Chocoholics?! … I love it! xo

Juliet, This looks so pretty and delicious. I definitely will try this! I love that it’s pretty simple. Chocolate Mousse can be a lot of work. This seems much better. Also the drinks look perfect and I will try the Chamboard..as creme de Cassis can be too sweet! Love how pretty you made everything. I have some silver trays from my grandma and you inspired me to get them out.
