Mystery Chocolate Toffee

Ingredients
  

  • 22 Soda Crackers with unsalted tops
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2/3 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 12 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 cup Sliced Almonds

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Line a 9x13 inch pan with foil, bring foil up sides
  3. Cover bottom of foil lined pan with one layer of crackers
  4. Melt butter, stir in brown sugar and bring to a boil. Let boil for one minute, stirring constantly
  5. Pour syrup over crackers, spread evenly and bake for 7 minutes
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread melting chocolate evenly
  7. Sprinkle almonds over chocolate and press into chocolate gently
  8. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, until firm
  9. Lift from pan and break into chunks
